Besides meats, PaiDom
offers shipping services to assist you in
getting these tasty and wholesome meats to your table, as well as to your
neighbors and friends. . . and to your enemies if you wish to extend the
proverbial olive branch.
Packaging & Shipping
-
While we would love to have you drop by and set foot on our
fine land, we will deliver our meats for a nominal handling fee
($10/box) within the
Amarillo-Lubbock radius. But we will waive that fee if you order
on our scheduled monthly deliveries.
On that same page, you'll find our other delivery routes that can save
you about half the freight cost.
-
-
For those of you who are farther away, we offer FedEx/UPS shipping
right to your door. Our meats are shipped in thick-walled, styrofoam coolers and topped
with dry ice to insure that they arrive frozen. The coolers are
re-useable, depending on how the courier has treated them. We use ground transportation when possible because it is less
expensive, but if you wish to have your order arrive sooner, we'll be
glad to us air freight. Otherwise, air freight is used only when the shipping distance
is beyond 4-day ground transportation (this only occurs on shipments
outside the continental U.S.).
-
-
IMPORTANT CAVEAT: Although the couriers
occasionally pay claims for damages on perishable items, they do so
reluctantly. Consequently, we will only ship our meats at your
risk and charges must be prepaid. Any damage claims will be the
responsibility of the recipient.
-
-
We ship on Mondays, and we will ship anywhere.
Orders received by Friday will usually be shipped on the following
Monday. Below is a list
of states and the corresponding costs of packaging (dry ice, cooler, box, etc.) and shipping
(ground freight) per box (59 lbs of meat, give or take a couple
pounds). Contact us for information on
destinations which are not
listed below or for other shipping alternatives. If you'd prefer to use your own account with UPS, FedEx,
or another freight company, just let us know the account number for
billing. You'll only pay $18-25/box for
the cost of packaging.
-
-
Our cooler and dry ice costs are relatively stable, but as you know,
freight carriers periodically adjust their rates. Consequently,
the figures that follow are subject to change at any time, but
they tend to change only annually. Keep in mind that couriers have
significantly increased their rates due to ever-increasing fuel costs.
We don't make anything on freight; we simply pass
through the approximate charges to our customers.
