Key Benefits of Our ProductsAt PaiDom, we periodically expand our endeavors to include new enterprises requested by our customers. At this time, we offer beef, lamb, goat, organs, bones, and eggs,. These goods are all by-products of our sound land management, and our meats/eggs provide the following benefits to you:
Wholesome & nutritious -- In addition to being drug-free, our meats are rich in many nutrients, including Omega-3 fatty acids, conjugated linoleic acids, & beta carotene. Lean, yet flavorful -- Grown exclusively on forages. Not only are these meats lean, but the fat that is present in the meat is healthy fat, containing the compounds listed above. Source-verified -- You know the person who grew these meats, as well as how and where they were grown. Family-grown -- You support a family, not a faceless corporation, and keep them on the land, a land that they work to steward in nature's image. This family, in turn, will be responsive to your needs.
Meat ProcessingIn an age where the mass processing of livestock has led to outbreaks of E-coli and salmonella, we are proud to put our meats up against anyone's. Most meats go down an assembly line during the slaughtering process, then go to a wholesaler for stocking, a retailer's cooler, a butcher in the meat department, a meat case in the supermarket, and finally to you. Every time the meat is handled, there is another opportunity for contamination. Our meats, on the other hand, are not processed on an assembly line. They go directly from our butcher to our freezer. Furthermore, today's virulent form of E-coli rarely occurs in pasture-finished animals. Once they reach slaughter weight, our calves, lambs, and goats are butchered at Edes Custom Meats in Amarillo, Texas. Like PaiDom, this is a local business owned by the Melvin Edes family, and their facility is USDA-inspected. Some day, we would like to do our own processing, but until we have the proper equipment, we are happy to support other local businesses like Edes. |
